Roya Alidjani is Co-Founder and Executive Producer of Ladytrap Productions based in New York and Los Angeles. An alum from NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts, she has dedicated her time to producing, directing, and writing short films, music videos, and specs. Recently, Roya has produced for Sesame Street, Academy Award qualifying short film “Apollo”, and Tribeca selected short film “BURROW”. As an Iranian-American female filmmaker, Roya always aims to focus on the more difficult stories in hopes to include underrepresented individuals in front of and behind the screen.

Besides producing, Roya recently directed a short film, “My Yellow, Your Red” which is currently in the festival circuit.
